LTC (Retired) Christensen served over 23 years in the United Army as career
military intelligence officer. Kurt has a BA degree in Political Science and
International Relations from the University of Minnesota. He also has a MS degree
in Strategic Science and Intelligence from the National Intelligence Uinversity ,
Washington DC. LTC Christensen is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and
General Staff College, the Military Intelligence Officer Basic and Adavanced
Courses, and the Electronic Warfare Signal Intelligence Officer Course. He is a
decorated combat veteran from OPERATION DESERT STORM where is was
awarded the Bronze Star. He served in command and staff officer position from
tactical units to strategic forces. He was also deployed to Korea , Kuwait, Bosnia,
Iraq, and Germany during his years of service. He retired from the army in 2005.
He began his second career as Senior Intelligence Officer with the Defense
Intelligence Agency assigned to the United States Central Command here in
Tampa at MacDill, AFB. He served with distinction was awarded the Defense
Intelligence Director's Award for outstanding service in defense of our nation.
Kurt is a grassroots conservative leader here in the Tampa Bay Area. He is a
Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee Precint Committeeman,
and Area Team leader. Kurt is also extremely active working on election
legislation with Defend Florida and Medical freedom efforts with local grassroots
associated with Making America Healthy Again. Kurt was also the Legislative
Director for the Pinellas Townhall Patriots.
